Technical physics – 2019/2020
Fair-Fusion: a young and innovative company with full potential located in Emmen with the aim to saving the world. Despite the 4 hour round trip, I never looked for another company. This was the only company involved in it for me. The high expectations more than lived up to it. I really feel part of Fair-Fusion, not just any trainee. Everyone gets the opportunity to try things out, ask questions and learn, and I did that a lot. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and highly recommended as an internship company!
Fair-Fusion: een jong en innovatief bedrijf vol potentie gevestigd in Emmen met als doel om de wereld te redden. Ondanks het 4 uur heen- en terugreizen, heb ik geen moment naar een ander bedrijf gezocht. Dit was het enige bedrijf die er voor mij toedeed. De hoge verwachtingen heeft het meer dan waar gemaakt. Ik voel me ook echt onderdeel van Fair-Fusion, niet “zomaar een stagiair”. Iedereen krijgt de mogelijkheid om dingen uit te proberen, vragen te stellen en te leren, en wauw wat heb ik dat veel gedaan. Ontzettend genoten van mijn tijd hier en een absolute aanrader als stagebedrijf!

I arrived at the company after my graduation for a Masters degree in Italy. I was searching a position for being introduced to the independent-research environment and so I decided to join their team for a 4 months-long internship. Their involvement in cutting-edge environmental issues and their continuous questioning about how to cope with current challenges faced by society are their strengths. Fair-Fusion taught me how to approach to multidisciplinary research and how to gain more self-confidence in pursuing my personal ideas. The friendly and informal setting absolutely encourage your initiative and create the perfect atmosphere to make your own path during your experience.
